Thanksgiving 2012

Now that the holidays are over and we are making good headway into 2013, I have a few spare moments to post about all the fun we've had the past few months!

Thanksgiving this year was spent in Kanab with all the Ramsay's.
It was also our first Thanksgiving with all four members of our little family staying under the same roof!
(2010- The twins were still in the NICU and 2011- Kole was still heading back from his deployment)

We spent a lot of time hanging out at Kasey and Megan's new house!  We're so excited that they live closer now:)  only 1 hour-ish away instead of 4!!
(Kollin and Daddy)

This little guy could not get enough of Papa's shrimp dip!

My first time making Apple Pie.  It turned out pretty yummy!

Our big table that sat everyone!!

All the Ramsay cousins.
(Kollin, Stetson, Madison, Kleyton, Korbin, Karter, Kooper, Kaden, and Judd)

1st Thanksgiving together!!!

Right before dinner the crazy's started happening!!!
Because what's a holiday without a little chaos?!?
Everyone was talking over each other and it got louder and louder then,
a few people accidentally tracked in dog poop all over the carpet then,
Poor little Kleyton picked up a piece of hot charcoal  out side thinking it was a rock and burnt his hand.

For a little while it was pure pandemonium!!
Thankfully the poop got washed, everyone calmed down, and Aunt Megan brought out her big bag of first aid and got Kleyton's hand fixed for the moment.
Kleyton also got a blessing and within a few minutes calmed down and fell asleep.

We all had our thanksgiving dinner

And when Kleyton woke up Kole and I took him to the ER just to be on the safe side...
Oh and PS this is the 3rd year in a row we've been to the hospital for something..

Recap:  2010-boys in the NICU
2011- I ended up in the ER for an excruciating pain in my left side that ended up being a transfer pain from pneumonia in my right lung
2012- Kleyton's burn:(

The burns on his hands were 2nd degree.  The doctor said he shouldn't have any scarring.  We got an ointment and directions to wrap his hand for a week then let it air out until healed.
When we got back it was like nothing bugged him at all.... he never acted like it hurt and let us wrap it and clean it as much as needed... Now he says 'Burn' and will show you his scars but thankfully he was such a trooper through the whole ordeal.

Kleyton enjoying his Thanksgiving dinner

And his dessert  ;)

Kollin liked his dessert too!

Before bed, all three little boys played with Boosty, sliding down the stairs to her.  (See I told you it wasn't bugging Kleyton at all!  What a tough little dude!)

The next morning he was all smiles and kept asking me to take pictures of him and Kollin.

While driving around town we spotted Mater at the local grocery store and just had to see him!!

And here is Kleyt's hand the next day :(

Before we headed home we stayed for the light parade in town.

The kids all loved it:)

Hope every one's Thanksgiving was a good one!

Santa!!!!!!

Do any of you remember this picture from last year?.....  Well, it looks like we have a repeat!
(2011)

(2012)

We went to the festival of trees a few weeks ago and we were so excited to take the boys to see Santa.  Kollin was not excited, just like last year, but as soon as Kole sat with him he was fine.   They even told santa what they want this year...:  They both said BIKE.

We had fun looking at the trees and all the other many things that the festival has to offer but they boys favorite part were the lights out side because they could touch.

The festival of trees always puts us in the Christmas spirit , even if it is before Thanksgiving ;)

COLORS!!!

At the beginning of November My sister Mary, niece MaKady, and a bunch of girls from my ward decided to do the Color Me Rad 5K.
At first when I signed up, months prior, I had no idea how my pregnancy would be going...but I signed up anyway because I knew if I didn't I would regret it. Especially since it would be my first 5K ever.

I am so glad I went!!!  Even though it was a freezing cold day, it was so worth it!
It was also a 'fun' race where they don't really keep times so I ran for the first bit and walked the rest so I wouldn't over work the baby maker:)

We all started off in our white clothes and were part of the first group of people to go....

Then every 1/2 mile or so the 'bomb squad' would douse you in color!!  It was either a powder (corn starch--non toxic)  or colored liquid that was freezing!!!

So by the end we looked like this!

And Mary's legs looked like this....:)
